Hot Wings in White Sauce

Best sticky wings on the far end of the bbq sauce spectrum.


Ingredients - Feeds 4

Chicken wings 1 Kg
Flour ½ Cup
Salt ½ Teaspoon
Garlic powder ½ Teaspoon
Mayonnaise ½ Cup
Crying Boy Peri Peri sauce ½ Cup
Dijon Mustard 1 Teaspoon
Honey 1 Tbl Spoon
Cooking oil 1 Litre

How to Prepare

1 Put the oil in a deep pot and pre heat to around 190C.

2 In a bowl mix the flour, salt and garlic powder.

3 Pop the wings into the flour and coat thoroughly.

Dust lightly before gently adding the wings to the hot oil, fry for 8 - 12 mins (depending on the size of the wings).

4 While the wings are frying, mix the mayonnaise, Crying Boy Peri Peri, mustard and honey in a pan and gently bring to a light boil.

5 When the wings are ready, remove the wings from the oil and place them directly Into the pan with the sauce, mix over a medium high heat for approximately 1 min until all pieces are thoroughly coated.

6 For the most difficult step, allow to cool before serving.
