Garlic Butter Prawns

Simple and Delicious follow this recipe once and you will have the tools to make delicious prawns when ever the feeling comes.


Ingredients - Feeds 4 people

Prawns 1 Kg
Butter 200 g
Crushed Garlic 1 Tbl Spoon
Crying Boy Peri Peri 35 Ml
Salt & Pepper a Pinch

How to Prepare

1 Butterfly the prawns by slicing down the back of them, use this opportunity to remove the vein that runs through the prawn.

2 In a bowl mix together the butter, garlic, Crying Boy, salt and pepper.

3 Take t-spoon amounts and generously cover the flesh of the prawns.

4 Pre heat a large pan - the hotter the better- once hot, place the prawns flesh side down onto the pan. The cooking has begun, press gently on the prawns as they cook, after 4-5mins they should be done, you can tell by the skin changing color to a nice pink. Remove them form the heat and place directly into a warm serving dish.

If you have to do the prawns in multiple batches, drain the garlic butter from the pan and wipe it with a kitchen towel to avoid any burning of the previous butter and garlic

5 All that remains is to pour the melted butter left over in the pan, in to a small dish for dipping and you are set.
