Peanut Butter Kebabs

We have no idea what possessed us to mix Crying Boy with peanut butter, but results where inspiring and now it's a staple


Ingredients - Feeds 4-6 people

Smooth Peanut Butter ¼ Cup
Crying Boy Peri Peri ¼ Cup
Light Soya Sauce 1 Tbl Spoon
Beef Rump 1 Kg

How to Prepare

1 Cube the beef into cubes the size of ice cubes.

2 In a large bowl whisk together the peanut butter, Crying Boy Peri Peri and the soya sauce.

3 Add the beef and massage in moderately, then place dish, covered, into the fridge and allow to sit for 3-6 hours to build flavor.

4 Once marinated, skewer the beef cubes on water soaked skewers, try to leave 2cm on each end of the skewer while using the same number of cubes per stick.

5 Your skewers are now ready to grill, enjoy, impress & relax.

Some Thoughts Worth Sharing on This Recipe

The idea of peanut butter horrifies most people you meet, the idea of chilies brings on fear in others, so why does this work, and when we say it works, you don't get that overpowering peanut butter experience and the burn becomes a tickle, which is fancy for it works very well.

Well first off the vinegar in the Crying Boy Original Recipe cuts neatly through the rich fattiness of the peanut butter while the peanut butter coats the pallet and neutralizes some of the burn form the chilies, the soya sauce is there to lightly enhance the romance between the peanut butter and the chilies.

Try it, it will be a hit, as an extra motivator we did this recipe for a client once, but instead of beef we used the sauce on quail, the client loved it, and that is all that can be said about this recipe.
